This recall involves ADP FOA series unit heaters with heating capacity, model and serial numbers listed below. These unit heaters are separated combustion and gas-fired. The brand name “ADP”, the model number and the serial number can be found on the nameplate located inside the control cabinet.

Amana – AMEH80 Series Furnaces – CPSC Recall #17-145 (May. – 2017)
Description:
This recall involves 80% efficiency gas-fired furnaces sold under the Goodman, Amana and Daikin brand names used with home heating and cooling systems. The recalled products have model numbers beginning AMEH80, DM80HE, and GME8, and serial numbers beginning 1609, 1610, 1611 and 1612. The brand name is shown on the outside of the furnace, and the serial number is located on the label found by opening the furnace door.

The units are rated 230/208 volt, 3.5 kW and are most often installed in walls of hotels, motels, apartment buildings and commercial spaces to provide room climate control. The recalled units are beige with serial numbers ranging from 0701009633 through 0804272329. The brand name is located on the unit’s front cover. Description:
This recall involves 37 models of Trane XB300 and American Standard brand Silver SI split system outdoor cooling units. The units are gray and have a black grated front. The units were sold in two sizes: 25.5 inches deep by 23.5 inches wide by 28.83 inches tall and 28.83 inches deep by 28.48 inches wide by 29.28 inches tall. The Trane or American Standard logo is affixed to the front and model numbers are printed on the silver nameplate on the back of the unit. Description: This recall involves 2, 3, 4, and 5 ton size heat pump units sold under the Carrier Greenspeed and Bryant Evolution Extreme brand names. The units are used for cooling and heating homes. The Carrier Greenspeed model numbers are: 25VNA024, 25VNA036, 25VNA048, and 25VNA060. The Bryant Evolution Extreme model numbers are: 280ANV024, 280ANV036, 280ANV048, and 280ANV060. The model number can be found on the unit nameplate (or rating plate) located on one side of the unit’s exterior. Bryant – Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners (PTAC) and Heat Pumps (PTHP) – (Expanded Recall Feb. – 2017)
Description:
This expanded recall involves Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners (PTAC) and Packaged Terminal Heat Pumps (PTHP) sold under the Bryant, Carrier and Fast brand names. Recalled units include those with original power cords and those that received a replacement power cord as part of the 2007 recall.
The recalled units have capacities of 7,000; 9,000; 12,000 and 15,000 BTUs and plug into 208/230 volt outlets. The following brands and eight models are being recalled:
• Carrier models 52CE, 52CQ, 52PE, 52PQ, 52PC, 52ME, 52MQ;
• Bryant models 840, 841, and 842; and
• Fast models 840, 841, and 842.
Model and serial numbers are located on the ratings/data plate on the right front of the unit, underneath the removable front panel. A complete list of the serial numbers involved in this recall is available by calling Carrier (800.761.8492).

Consumers should contact ECR International immediately to arrange for a free repair. Consumers can call ECR International at (800) 241- 5501 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.
CPSC recommends that every home should have at least one CO alarm that meets the requirements of the most recent Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 2034 standard, International Approval Services 6-96 standard or the Canadian Standards Association 6.19-01 standard.

Buderus – GB312 gas-fired, floor standing condensing boilers. – CPSC Recall #09-770 (Sep.. – 2009)
Hazard: A problem with the boiler’s ignition due to insufficient output voltage from the boiler’s transformer can damage the boiler’s venting. This can result in leaking flue gases, posing a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning to consumers.
Incidents/Injuries: No incidents or injuries reported in the United States. Two incidents were reported in Germany, neither of which resulted in injury.
Description: The recall involves the Buderus GB312 gas-fired, floor standing condensing boilers. Model numbers included in this recall are: 312/90, 312/120, 312/160, 312/200, 312/240 and 312/280. “BUDERUS GB312” is printed on the front of the boiler. The boilers are blue, approximately 60 inches high and between 39 and 55 inches wide.
Sold by: Plumbing and heating wholesale distributors to plumbing and heating contractors nationwide from April 2008 through February 2009 for between $12,000 and $24,000 installed.

Remedy: Bosch has directly contacted consumers who purchased the recalled boilers, inspected and, if necessary, repaired the boilers.

Hazard: An electrical connector can overheat, posing a fire hazard to consumers.
Incidents/Injuries: None reported.
Description: The recalled Buderus GB142 is a gas-fired, wall-hung boiler. The boilers are white and designed to be mounted on walls. The black control drawer in the bottom center of the front of the boiler is marked “Buderus GB 142.” Boilers with a green sticker inside the control drawer are not included. The model numbers included in the recall are 142/24, 142/30, 142/45 and 142/60. Only models with date codes of 7246 through 7256 are included in the recall. The model number and date code are located on a label on the bottom left side of the boiler.
Sold by: Wholesale distributors to plumbing and heating contractors nationwide from September 2007 through December 2007 for between $5,000 and $7,500.

Remedy: Consumers should stop using the recalled boilers immediately and contact their certified heating contractors or Bosch Thermotechnology for a free repair.

Description:
This recall involves Crown Boiler CWD series cast iron hot water boilers that use natural gas or liquid petroleum to heat water in home baseboard, floor or radiator heating systems. The boilers are red and gray, about 37 inches tall, about 23 inches deep and range from about 16 to 42 inches wide. The Crown Boiler logo is on the front of the boiler. Recalled boilers have model numbers that begin with CWD and were manufactured between May 1, 2005 and July 1, 2013. The model number and the manufacturing date are located on a white rating label located on the upper right side of the boiler. The manufacturing date appears under “Series” in the MM/DD/YYYY or M/D/YYYY format or as a two-letter code. Recalled models have dates between 5/1/2005 and 7/1/2013 or one of the following two-letter codes:

Manufacturer: Crown Boiler Co., of Philadelphia, Pa.
Hazard: The boilers can generate excessive levels of carbon monoxide (CO) in the flue gases, posing a risk of CO poisoning.
Incidents/Injuries: Crown Boiler has received one report of high levels of carbon monoxide from these boilers. No injuries have been reported.
Description: The recall involves Bermuda BSI and Cayman CWI Series gas-fired boilers designed for indoor installation. Model and serial numbers included in this recall are listed below and are located on the rating plate. The boilers have a two-tone, red and gray jacket enclosure with the controls and piping on the right side of the unit. The rating plate is a silver label located in the upper left hand corner of the right side panel.

Dayton – Model 3UG82D Electric Baseboard Heaters – CPSC Recall #10-745 (Jul. – 2010)
Description:
Name of Product: Dayton Electric Baseboard Heaters
Units: About 30
Manufacturer: Marley Engineered Products LLC, of Bennettsville, S.C.
Hazard: The baseboard heaters are labeled for 240 or 208 volt use. However, some of the heaters have an internal heater built for a maximum of 120 volts. If the heater is connected to a 240 or 208 volt electrical circuit as directed, the unit could catch fire.
Incidents/Injuries: None reported.
Description: This recall involves Dayton 240/208 volt model 3UG82D electric baseboard heaters. The white, rectangular heaters are 30 inches long by 6 3/4 inches high by 2 7/8 inches deep. A nameplate on the bottom right side of the base has “Dayton Electric Mfg. Co.,” model 3UG82D and date code 1209. Only heaters purchased after December 21, 2009 with a date code of “1209” are included in this recall. The recalled heaters have yellow and white wires inside the panel where the heater connects to the power source. Heaters with red and black wire are not included in this recall.
Sold exclusively at: Grainger branch stores nationwide from December 2009 through March 2010 for about $50.
Manufactured in: United States
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the heaters and inspect the product’s nameplate to determine whether it is involved in the recall. Consumers with affected heaters should disconnect the product at the circuit breaker or fuse. A qualified electrician should inspect the color of the wires inside the heater’s electrical access panel to determine if the wires are yellow and white. Consumers should return the affected heaters to Marley for a free replacement. Marley will pay reasonable labor charges required to inspect and exchange units. Marley is directly notifying known consumers.

This expanded recall involves Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners (PTAC) and Packaged Terminal Heat Pumps (PTHP) sold under the Bryant, Carrier and Fast brand names. Recalled units include those with original power cords and those that received a replacement power cord as part of the 2007 recall.
The recalled units have capacities of 7,000; 9,000; 12,000 and 15,000 BTUs and plug into 208/230 volt outlets. The following brands and eight models are being recalled:

The recalled water heaters generate hot water for use in homes, such as showers, sinks and dishwashers. “Mark II” and “9600 CB” or “9600 HWG” are printed on the front of the boilers and water heaters. Description:
This recall involves Weil-McLain Ultra models 80, 105, 155 and 230 MBH gas-fired boilers used for space heating. The boilers have a serial number range between CP 6557046 and CP 6955985. Model and serial numbers are located on a bar-coded label affixed to the lower right side of the boiler, behind the removable front panel. The boilers have a Weil-McLain logo plate affixed to the front, a pewter/flat black cover and are either freestanding or wall-mounted.

Hazard: These boilers were manufactured for use with natural gas, but could have a blue tag incorrectly indicating to installers that they are intended for use with LP (propane) gas. If an installer connects one of the boilers to LP gas without installing a propane conversion kit, carbon monoxide (CO) can build up due to incomplete combustion, posing a risk of CO poisoning.
Incidents/Injuries: Weil-McLain is aware of one incident where two consumers reported CO poisoning when the boiler installed in their home was connected to LP gas.
Description: The recall involves Weil-McLain Ultra 80, Ultra 105, Ultra 155, Ultra 230 and Ultra 310 condensing, high-efficient, gas-fired boilers for space heating. The user’s manual and installation manual have “Ultra Gas-Fired Water Boiler” on the cover. The boilers are wrapped in a glossy silver/flat black jacket and either stand on the floor or are wall-mounted. The serial numbers range from CP5071716 through CP5327000. When the panel on the front of the boiler is removed, a bar-coded label with the serial number is located on the lower right hand side of the boiler itself. “Weil-McLain” is written on the front panel of the boilers.
Sold by: Plumbing and heating wholesale distributors to plumbers and contractors nationwide from May 2005 through July 2006 for between $4,000 and $7,000.

Remedy: Consumers who had a Weil-McLain Ultra series boiler installed for use with propane and have not already been contacted by their installer should contact the installer or a heating professional for a free safety inspection. If the boiler was not installed with a propane conversion kit, one will be installed at the time of the inspection at no charge. Manufacturer: The Weil-McLain Company of Michigan City, Ind.
Hazard: Weil-McLain has determined that the gas valve mounting screws on the recalled boilers may have not been fully tightened during the assembly process and may have come loose in transportation. Weil-McLain is concerned that loose gas fittings could result in leaking gas, fire and/or explosions that could cause bodily injuries or property damage.
INCIDENTS/INJURIES: None reported.
Description: The Ultra 155 & Ultra 230 Gas Boilers are condensing high- efficient gas-fired boilers for space heating. They have 93% operating efficiency and use a cast aluminum, mono block heat exchanger packaged in a glossy silver/flat black jacket.
Sold: Nationally at plumbing and heating wholesale distributors to plumbers and contractors from December 2002 through February 2003 for approximately $4500.
WHAT TO DO: Weil-McLain is providing distributors and installers with a “Safety Notice” package for each boiler containing instructions, replacement screws and a reimbursement form. Installers are also asked to tighten the gas valve union. Installers will be reimbursed $50 for each boiler they inspect.
