How to determine the date of production/manufacture or age of AAON® and AAONAIRE® HVAC Systems.

The date of production/manufacture or age of AAON® and AAONAIRE® HVAC equipment can be determined from the serial number located on the data plate.

Style 1: 200108AKG26241

Year of manufacture can be determined by using the 1st – 4th numerical digits

Month of manufacture can be determined BY using the 5th-6th numerical digits

Style 2: 97JKGK153

Year of manufacture can be determined using the 1st & 2nd numerical digits

Month of manufacture can be determined using the 3rd character (see chart)

Style 3: AKEC08701

Year of manufacture can be determined using the 6th &7th numerical digits

Month of manufacture can be determined using the 8th & 9th numerical digits
