How to determine the date of production/manufacture or age of McQuay® HVAC Systems.

The date of production/manufacture or age of Midea® HVAC equipment can be determined from the serial number or MFG. DATE located on the data plate.

Example serial number styles/formats found:

Style 1: Serial No. C703239530315908400008 with MFG. DATE 2015
Style 2: Serial No. V180543529 with a MFG. DATE 2018

Style 1: C703239503159 with MFG. DATE 2015-9

The date of manufacture is coded in the Serial Number starting at the 12 digit, followed by the 14th digit representing the month. This includes the letter.

Style 2: V180543529 with MFG. DATE 2018-05

The date of manufacture is coded in the Serial Number after the letter, with the 1-4 digits representing the year and month of manufacturer.
